Camera Shots: Over The Shoulder

An 'Over The Shoulder' Shot is usually used to give the effect that the audience is accompanying the character in the situation. It could also be used in a situation where the character could be up to something, for example being devious.

  1. I think some of your shots are framed well and you have clearly explained when a particular shot should be used, well done. However you need to explain the meaning behind the shot in more detail...for example the establishing shot signifies a woodland remote setting suggesting the character could be vulnerable...but we will work on the deeper level of analysis. Also try to use media terms for 'shows' and 'means' such as connote, represent, signify.
